Family Tree Kit instructions

Thank you for purchasing a FamilyTree original family tree kit. This guide will help you create a keepsake in a style that's all your own!

-Celebrate Family Every Day-

1

TREE

Start by hand writing family names on wood rounds with supplied dual-sided pen.

Feel free to get creative!

Try stamping names or initials; or use scrapbooking stencils with paint pens or letter stickers.

TIP:

Add your own embellishments like glitter, sequins or fabric that might be laying around the house. Want to use pictures? Use the wood round to trace a circle around a face that's printed out about 2" in diameter, cut out and glue!

3

TREE

Finish decorating the tree by wrapping the green vine garland around the branches.

TIP:

Secure one end of the vine with glue or glue dots on the back side of the tree. Work your way around the tree from right to left.

5

INSERT TREE

Push the tree into the center of the foam.

TIP:

DO NOT PUSH TREE PAST CENTER OF FOAM as it may break and may not hold the tree tightly in place.  However if you have broken the foam put hot glue into the hole surrounding  the tree to secure.

7

BUCKET

Cut off the log round from your box. Put provided twine through hole &
tie in a bow. Attach magnet to back, affix to front of bucket to decorate.

2

TREE

Attach rounds and wood flowers to tree using any glue. We recommend hot glue or craft glue.

TIP:

If you prefer to have removable circles, Tacky putty or glue dots can be used. You can find these in any local craft store.

4

BUCKET

Cut floral foam to size making sure it is as wide as the bucket so that it fits snug when inserted.  Take remaining foam and cut small wedges to fill in any remaining spaces.

TIP: Make sure to allow for some room on top of the foam for moss!

6

INSERT TREE

Arrange moss on top and around the tree for a pretty organic look!
